  • Opacity Calibration Error Test (OCET).

  • Method 9 Opacity Observation

  • Procedure 3 External Zero Device Calibration.

  • Calibration Gas Audit (CGA).

  • Opacity Field Audit Performance Test (new monitor certification).

  • Audits necessary to maintain data validity for AQMS. (Particulate, Gasses, Temperature, Pressure, Wind speed/direction, Precipitation).

Managing Auditing Services

ATMOS is regularly requested to provide on site CEMS support during Relative Accuracy Test Audits and Source Performance Testing.  In this capacity, we work in liaison with source testers and plant operators to make the testing experience as seamless as possible.  This aids plant personnel by alleviating their presents during testing activities.  Further, using general aviation, fuel sampling with chain-of-custody is greatly simplified.  We are able to remove the shipping issues normally associated with remote testing and fuel sampling.

Reporting

ATMOS is well versed in preparing reports for submittal to the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Hawaii State Department of Health (HDOH).  We regularly generate Quarterly and Semi-Annual Excess Emissions and Data Assessment reports for CEMS/COMS.  ATMOS streamlines the reporting process by effectively combining multiple submissions under a single cover.  This supports clients by reducing paperwork and space for long term storage of the data.

Ambient air monitoring

Clients looking for ambient monitoring services may be pleased to know that ATMOS provides such services.  As a full service contractor, ATMOS can provide the client with a fully outfitted monitoring station and a devoted team to maintain it.  We have serviced contracts for Pre and Post Construction on power generating stations.  With our fully outfitted ambient station, monitoring possibilities are nearly limitless. Built on a 20’x8′ trailer the field unit is configured to measure: PM 10, PM 2.5, Co-located 2.5, Total Suspended Particulates, NOx, CO, SO2, Ozone, speciation, wind speed, wind direction, precipitation, and temperature.  The station may also be adapted with additional monitors as per clients needs.  If you are seeking ambient monitoring, consider your local ambient monitoring specialist; ATMOS.

ATMOS takes great pride in being able to respond to customer needs with second to none service.  Pictured below is “Juliet” the ATMOS plane used to respond to customer needs state-wide while being timely and cost effective.  Juliet allows ATMOS to transport people and materials to remote locations without the difficulty of airline travel.  This single assist has allowed ATMOS to quickly respond to our customers needs, reduce system downtime and manage overhead costs within the company.
